Alright everyone, big things are happening! We (well, just me) promised change, so here it is! We're (hopefully) starting something new tonight, which is gonna change the way you read and listen to The Bathroom Session. Just check it out.
Tonight I'm in an Indie Rock-ish type of mood. After working all day, there's nothing better then coming home, grabbing a sandwich, and enjoy some great upbeat music. So, with that said, here's some of the first great Indie to be released in 2011.
Tapes 'n' Tapes - Freak Out
Tapes 'n' Tapes - Freak Out
This song is off of Minnesota's Tapes 'n' Tapes' brand new album Outside. This song definitely shows a taste of some of the great shows Tapes 'n' Tapes will play this coming year. Hopefully I'll be less broke when they swing around my neck of the woods.
Cloud Nothings - Understand At All
Cloud Nothings - Understand At All
This is the first track off of their newest self-titled album, and is quickly making its way onto my Most Played list. They managed to follow an amazing EP with an even better full length album. Thanks Could Nothings, hopefully I see you this year too.
Cut Copy - Take Me Over
Cut Copy - Take Me Over
Even though this single was dropped late last year, I'm posting it because THE NEW ALBUM COMES OUT TUESDAY! Yeah, new Cut Copy. This song shows that they're coming back with the same sound, but a few new tricks up their sleeves.
Now, with this all said and done, lets see how this new fangled gadget works out. This is a big step for us! Think about it, all of the songs are now on a playlist on that little thing in the corner, and will play through until the end. That means: no more having to change the song once its done, new possibilities, and most importantly:
NO more YouTube!!!
Enjoy!
