This is a blog, dedicated to music enjoyed in its purest form: While sitting on a bathroom floor. As you listen to these songs, don't hesitate to send me songs as well. I'll listen to any song, and if it's good, I'll post it along with the other ones.

I really enjoy hearing what people think of the songs I play them, so send me your comments, criticisms, song, thoughts, or anything else you can think of. I'll get back to you with a (hopefully) witty retort.

I Just Can't Get Enough Of You

But seriously, I can't stop listening to this song. This is Flight Facilities newest track titled "With You, and after drawing watching what looks like a lot of Megaman and Astroboy, animator Ben Drake crafted an absolutely awesome video to go along with it. Have a listen, and nod your head.

Laser Swag

Enter Coyote Kisses, the dynamic duo hailing from Lakeland Florida who, in the last year or so have been cranking out track after amazing track. They cross genres so fluidly, it's hard to classify them, which is fine especially in today's electronic music scene. I find these days, many artists are using elements from various genres to put out their own unique sound, and Coyote Kisses are a prime example of that. Using some 8Bit synthesizers, glitchy leads, and banging drops, they've become one of my favourite duos just because of their unique take on dance music. Their harmonized leads and complex rhythyms show their hard work, and that this isn't another couple of kids screwing around on a pirated copy of music production software. Here's a couple of my favourite tracks by them taken from their Soundcloud (which can be found here). Looking forward to some new songs, maybe an EP, and at best maybe a tour? Keep it up guys.

Long Overdue

Hey gang. This post is definitely more than long overdue post, but I've just been unable to stop listening to this album. "If You're Young" is the debut album from Indie-Alternative band The Static Jacks. Straight out of Westfield NJ, The Static Jacks released their first album at the end of August and have been on the road since. If they swing by your neck of the woods, I highly recommend you go and see them, and tell me how much of an amazing performance they put on, because after listening to their music, I can only assume it's great.

Fresh, Floor Shaking Dubstep.

Alright folks. It's almost November, and you know what that means! The year's winding down, and soon we'll be getting many playlists of "Best _______ of 2011", which I'm pretty stoked for. I can't wait to take part in the building of those playlists, and if finals don't completely consume all of my time hopefully I'll be able to turn some out throughout the next two months. There's been a bunch of good music dropping recently, so I've gathered some Dubstep I've heard in the past week or so for your listening pleasure. So strap in for some down and dirty Dubstep ladies and gents.

Klaypex - When I'm Gone (Ellie Goulding)
Metrik - Between Worlds
Modified Noise - IMPULSE

Catastrophe Vol. 9

Don't know about you guys, but I've been waiting a very long time for this. And what is this you might ask. This, my friends, is Mustard Pimp's 9th installment of their Catastrophe Mixtape. I haven't actually listened to it as of yet, but based on the past eight mixtapes released by the French duo, I can only expect the best. So join me in saying, thanks Mustard Pimp, keep up the great work.

MixMonday: Netsky

Hay hay hay. I'm back, again, with another mix for you. This one comes to you from Belgium's hottest Drum and Bass producer, Netsky. In just 4 years of producing, he's managed to work closely with all of the artists who inspired him to start DJing in the first place including (but certainly not limited to); Nu:tone, Camo & Krooked, and High Contrast. This is his Essential Mix, one of BBC Radio 1's best ongoing feature. If you got the time, I more than highly recommend sitting down and having a listen to the various incredible artists that they feature. Anyways. Enjoy Netsky's Essential Mix in nice, clean, crisp HD, it's what I'm doing.
